Customer 5.0 out of 5 stars I found the product number on the inside of the lower drawer. Amazon answers will tell you to select part 316075104 and says it is a perfect fit, it may be, but the product manual online for this model specifies part number 316075103. This came quickly and install was super quick. Be sure to save your old sheet metal screws, this does not come with extras, no big deal. Heated up quickly with no issues at all. I would buy this again for my frigidaire FEF326ASE range.I didn't even know that the oven's coil (heating element) could break but my old one broke. I'm not the most handy person and it was fairly simple to remove the old coil and replace with the new one. There were no instructions. I turned off the power to the oven first to be safe. I used a socket wrench to remove the two screws ( you need to reuse the old screws). I pulled the prongs out then attached the new coil and screwed it back in. It took longer to clean out the oven after than it was to install. It was easy to install, and I was able to replace the element, and have the oven cooking in less than 5 minutes from the time I began removing the burned out element.

The oven rack fits into grooves on the side of the oven wall, and acts as a shelf that you can place food items on when you want to cook them in the oven. This rack is 24 inches wide and 16 inches long, and is chrome in color. Occasionally, the rack will become warped or distressed, or it may be missing from your oven. In these cases, it will need to be replaced. To replace the rack, simply slide out the old rack and replace it with the new one. It is approximately 2 inches in length and is an OEM part sourced directly from the manufacturer. If your oven door will not close or your door handle is loose or disconnected, you may need to tighten or replace the handle mounting screw. Good reason not to put something in the oven for a few hours and leave the house while it bakes, right. No issues with the new replacement coil and I expect it to go out without trying to burn my house down. When the original one burned out I replaced it with an aftermarket element. It lasted a little over a year. It worked fine but I noticed that it was a little smaller in diameter than the original. It burned out and made a terrible noise and smoked up the inside of my oven. There were pieces of melted steel all over the bottom of the oven. This time I decided to go with a genuine Frigidaire part. So far it's working fine but I rated it at 3 stars because I have no way of knowing how long it will last. Keep in mind that the first element that burned out was also a genuine Frigidaire part. Hopefully this one will last a long time.We installed this as a replacement for our Frigidaire Stove Oven with Model Number FEF336BCM and it fits perfectly. Installation was quick and easy. Unplug the electric stove, unscrew and slightly pull the old element detaching it from the oven wall, disconnect the pin wires from the element, connect the new element and screws, plug and enjoy your next oven baked food. We had to wait a bit longer for delivery but for the used price and not having to pay service call for warranty claim or a repairman, this was a good deal. I have included an unboxing and how-to install video up top in the video section. If this element burns out before it's 5th year in I will change my rating to a 3 Star. If my house burns down due to this element I will change my rating to a 2 Star. With the new element my oven works perfectly. I was afraid I would have to get a new stove, so this was a much cheaper option. Arrived relatively quick, although Amazon no longer ships my prime orders via courier so things take a little longer via Canada Post.Ah but there is only so much a toaster oven can do. I took the plunge and ordered this replacement.

Ship time was excellent, the part was well protected in the shipping box, and I had the part exceptionally fast. I do recommend this IF it fits your oven.Arrived bent As I compared to the one I removed, I found the terminals had a 90 degree bend (made that way) and also a 90 degree twist. I tried to install it as it came, but there wasn't enough clearance in the slot of the oven for the terminals and wiring. I thought I must of ordered the wrong part. I checked the part number and the pictures. If the new part would have been as pictured, it would have worked perfectly. I had to bend the electrical tabs flat and then twist them 90 degrees. Also, the mounting tabs that the screws go through were bent as well. Once finally mounted in the oven, the heating element was off center by a good inch and a half, as it had been bent (in shipping I presume). I had to bend it back in shape. With all of this bending, I'm concerned how long it will last. I wasn't very happy with this purchase. I probably should of sent it back. I just turned it on long enough to make sure it worked. We will see what happens. This is the second time I’ve had to replace the heating element. The original totally disintegrated while I was baking a pizza. I replaced it with one I ordered online from a parts retailer and, while it didn’t disintegrate like the previous one, it was beginning to warp and touch the bottom of the oven. I was worried it would fail at any time (or cause other harm) and was going to order another one from the same parts retailer but their price was more than double what this one was on Amazon. I was pleasantly surprised to see an authentic Electrolux brand heating element after receiving it (Electrolux is Tappan’s parent company). Installation was a breeze and I’ve used my oven once since then and it worked like a dream. Highly recommended!Fortunately I was in the kitchen when the coil finally burned out by sparking and catching fire.

It was so easy to install - maybe 10 minutes tops. Works great! As power is applied to it a spark jumps from the spark electrode tip to the to the electrode shield, igniting the gas. If the electrode is broken or worn out the spark may not occur. Visually inspect the electrode assembly for cracks in the porcelain housing or damage to the electrode tip itself. Be aware that a. proper ground and the correct polarity of the incoming voltage to the range is necessary for the electrode control to sense the presence of a flame once the burner is ignited. If the burner goes off after ignition check for proper ground and the correct polarity at the wall outlet. When the broil element is heating properly, it glows red hot. Often, if the broil element has burned out, it will be visibly damaged. To determine if the broil element has burned out, use a multimeter to test the element for continuity. If the broil element does not have continuity, replace it. Gas ovens require 120 volts. If an oven won't turn on there could be an incoming power problem. To determine if the electrical outlet is providing sufficient voltage, use a multimeter to test the incoming power at the wall socket. 06 - Thermal Fuse If the oven gets too hot, the thermal fuse trips to shut off power to the oven. If the thermal fuse has blown, the oven will not heat. However, this is not a common occurrence. To determine if the thermal fuse is at fault, use a multimeter to test the fuse for continuity. If the thermal fuse does not have continuity, replace it. The thermal fuse cannot be reset—if the fuse has blown, it must be replaced. Hold times are long. The igniter has two main functions. First, the igniter draws electrical current through the oven safety valve to open it. Second, the igniter gets hot enough to glow and ignite the gas in the oven burner. If the igniter gets weak, it will fail to open the safety valve correctly. If the valve does not open, the oven will not heat. To determine if the igniter is defective, observe the igniter when the oven is on. If the ignit. er glows for more than 90 seconds without igniting the gas flame, this indicates that the igniter is too weak to open the valve. If the igniter is weak, replace it. If the igniter does not glow at all, use a multimeter to test the igniter for continuity. If the igniter does not have continuity, replace it. If the element does not glow red, this indicates that the element is not heating. Often, if the heating element has burned out, it will be visibly damaged. Inspect the heating element for holes or blisters. To determine if the bake element has burned out, use a multimeter to test the element for continuity. If the bake element does not have continuity, replace it. The electrode is a device that sits right next to the burner. It functions like a spark plug.

Some people said that you have to remove the back of the outer shell but I was very careful not to let the wires fall back into the opening where the element connects and installed the new element in about 30 minutes. Our Kenmore oven door was removable by lifting and pulling out on the door making access to the oven much easier. It does and it works perfectly, exact same size and the connectors are the same size and orientation too. This will also fit the REG-74 double wall oven too.I figured even if a new bake element didn't fix the problem, it would be nice to have a spare on hand. If you want to be sure the element is the problem you could disconnect the old element and use a multimeter to 1) test for continuity on the suspected bad element and 2) Put the oven on BAKE and probe the spade connectors coming out the holes in the back wall of the oven to see if you have a voltage reading. Additional info: For the record, replacing the element did NOT fix the problem. After replacing the timer with The old one pulled right out and this one slipped right on. Measure your current element to ensure the correct fit. It smells mechanical the first first used, but it goes away and didn't affect the food. Thanks for such a great priced element! While installing, I had to unbend them a bit. One tip from a video: place the new element in the oven with the old one after you pull the wires from the back and in one motion, switch the wires from off the old directly on to the new. This way the wires won't slip back in. I will update if I have any problems.Put the end on pushed into the holes and screwed them in. Simple, just like removing the old one, Except when I turned the oven on and a spark blew out the whole stove. Now I have no stover to use. Caused a short somewhere.I literally looked up an element that looked the same, read reviews and ordered this one up. Exact same size and shape, install is exactly as removing the old one.

Toddstick 5.0 out of 5 stars Aside from my self-inflicted foolishness, the replacement element fit and works great.Very common occurrence according to Google. Wasn't sure how to compare part models so ordered this based off the fact that it looked like the dysfunctional part currently in our oven. Once it arrived we compared to the old part and it was identical so my husband and I watched a quick YouTube video and set to work. We didn't turn off the power to the oven but were very careful to not allow the wires to fall back behind the oven panel. The one caveat mentioned in the title was the silver, perpendicular pieces at the end of the element that stick up. Our old part had them laying flat. I'm not sure if these were supposed to be bent flat before installation but it quickly became obvious that they weren't going to fit through the slits in the back of the oven without bending them. Fortunately our little adjustment didn't create any issues and the newly installed element works perfectly.

I researched and found this item and decided it would be a worthy amount to attempt a fix rather than spending hundreds on a new oven. The board connected exactly as the old one did, and I noticed that the design was actually nicer than the one that I removed. The connections between the PCBs were not made by bent metal pins, but an actual wire harness which is nice. Everything fit well and worked right on power up.I was able to find a corrected overlay and apply it so all the buttons do what they say, success! It was SUPER easy to install. For every wire I took out it went right into the new one so there was no confusion. For the faceplate I just took a hairdryer to the old one and peeled it off carefully and replaced on the new one. Thank god for amazon!!! Now let’s just hope this one lasts until we sell our house lolThe only thing is that the buttons are in different places so we had to put label stickers over them so correctly label them. Out stove looks great and ghetto now. But at least it works! The only thing I can get to work on it is the clock. It won't allow the oven to come on so it was a waste of money but I destroyed the box it came in, so too much trouble to return. You live and you learn. I took a gamble because the numbers indicated it was the one that would work. You can even keep the overlay if you are removing it carefully with hot water and a spatula; then use contact glue.Page 1 of 1 Start over Page 1 of 1 In order to navigate out of this carousel please use your heading shortcut key to navigate to the next or previous heading. Aaron Scott 5.0 out of 5 stars Peel the plastic cover off the old unit and properly affix it to the new part. 3. Disconnect the wires from the old part while it’s still hangs from the back of your oven, and one by one connect the wires to the new part. Doing this one at a time make sure that you properly connect each wire to the exact place it just came from. 4.

Once all wires are secured, simply turn on the electricity and test to make sure it is working properly before putting the oven back in its place. This was the first time I’ve ever replaced a control board on an oven, and with the visual aid of some good YouTube videos, it was a breeze even for those who are mechanically uninclined, like I can be!??Taking old one off and putting this one one was easy, the problem is that even though I plugged all the wires in exactly how they were on the old one, all the buttons are wrong. I hit the bake button and it’s for the timer. Has anyone else had this problem. Can I change them up through trial and error (will be big pain in the ass), or did I get the wrong part completely. Please helpThis new one started doing the same thing within the first two weeks. Our oven is a Kenmore and has been having this runaway temperature problem intermittently for the past 12 years. We've narrowed down the problem to the electronic control module and we've been replacing it repeatedly over the years. This is our fifth module, but we've never seen one fail as quickly as this one did. Warranty was a total joke. Amazon said to refer to the manufacturer for warranty info. Contacted Frigidaire but they said they couldn't help us because our oven is a Kenmore and told us to call Kenmore. Called Kenmore but they said they couldn't do anything since we hadn't bought the module from them. We should have returned it within the 30 day Amazon return window.Install tip: When you remove the faceplate from your old control board, I suggest using a hair dryer to heat up the adhesive that rings the outside edge of the faceplate. With a little heat and patience, you can peel it up without damage and adhere it to your new control board. The adhesive is only around the edges, so focus the heating there and pull evenly and slowly from one corner.

I have a frigidaire oven, the broli and bake elements are not working. The indicator sets temp and time but nothing heats up. It worked fine yesterday.Hi there: This is a great forum, I just can't seem to find someone that has put up the same specific info that I have in order to create a good diagnosis. I live in Fort McMurray, home of the Oil Sands, and a northern city with little in the way of service repairfolk. Our landfill gets a lot of appliances that just have popped relays, etc.So anyway, my problem. The circuit panel didn't break, and the oven panel went dead.
